The links below do not necessarily reflect the ideas/beliefs of the DNNS.  They are topics of interest to dietitians who work with the public and want to learn more.

EAT:

READ:

The New Year brings optimism and hope to form new healthy habits. As dietitians, we need to support our clients with strategies for habit change. These books offer practical tips and strategies that can be used within our own lives and to help clients. (Note: Gretchen Rubin does describe her change to a very low carbohydrate diet in her book – but does make it clear that it is not for everybody)

The Power of Habit – by Charles Duhigg

Better Than Before  - by Gretchen Rubin

And here is a new one that I have not read yet – but have heard good reviews about it:

Atomic Habits – by James Clear

LEARN:

2019 food and diet trend reviews and predictions from dietitians Edwina Clark  and others.
